Michael Cummo is a veteran photojournalist currently working as a staff photographer photojournalist at the Pulitzer-winning Stamford Advocate in Stamford, Connecticut, one of the nation’s oldest daily newspapers. In addition to the full-time work at the Advocate, he also regularly shoots for the BNP Paribas Open, one of the tennis world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments in Indian Wells, California, as one of the official tournament photographers. Previously, he was the head of photography at the Martha's Vineyard Times, a weekly independent newspaper in Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts. He also has worked at Sports Illustrated, product specialists FMG Studio in London and with the Governor of Massachusetts Deval Patrick. His work has been featured in the Baseball Hall of Fame, The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, the Associated Press and countless other national websites and publications.
